About Me
- Donna Marcius
- I am a qualified jeweller and have worked in the jewellery trade for over forty years. My apprenticeship was completed with Italian jewellers in Melbourne.
Living in Loch Sport has let me experience nature to the fullest, which influences my work. The other major influence is the Art Noveau period 1890-1914 with its beautiful organic flowing lines. This period was a reaction to the industrialization of the world and I think we need to react again in the present time to encourage handcrafted items, so we can be individuals and show our essence in what we create.
