Mokume-gane Wedding ring
This wedding ring was made for my son. I have always wanted to attempt making mokume-gane metal and I knew that it was thwart with problems but love for my son keep me persisting. Mokume-gane is a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. This term describes a Japanese metalworking procedure, which comes in the form of a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Mokume gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal", describing the way the metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain. So if anyone else would like a piece of jewellery using mokume-gane metal I will be buying the alloy already made but you still end up with a unique item.
