Blue Lady

Sterling Silver handmade 50 cent coin holder and large links, highlighted with sodalite 8 mm faceted beads and 4mm soadilite beads. The lady bird charm is  a personal touch for the woman it was commissioned for. These personal addition make a piece of jewellery unique . 

 

Black Beauty

  This simple  classic design  is  a  1 carat black diamond set in 6 claw, 9kt white gold setting with a rounded 9kt rose gold band.
 

Tiny Ring

The challenge for this commission was to remake the engagement ring just like the one she had been wearing for 30 years, we even had to cut the ring off her finger after the centre diamond fell out but luck was on their side and found the diamond in the house. The other unique fact about this job was the finger size I1/2, the original ring was a G tiny.

 

 

Sparkling Brilliant

 Sourced the diamond and  hand made this sparkling 2 carat diamond solitaire ring, in 18kt gold and platinum setting.

The client wanted a ring she could wear everyday even though it was a large stone., so I kept the setting low by incorporating it into the band but still high enough to let light in under the stone so it would sparkle. The shoulders of the ring give it strength and protect the setting. Shoulders are 4mm wide taper to 3mm also they start off rounded then turn into a knife edge band at the bottom, just a little bit of interest in a traditional style ring.  


 

Free Form

 

This free form natural green/yellow Australian  party sapphire 1.35 carat needed a free form ring to suit.       9kt yellow gold hand made ring.

Echted Blue

A remake using 18kt yellow gold  and emerald cut blue gem from clients mothers jewellery. The brief was simple  chunky but different. The gem is 10 x 8 mmm, the band is 6mm tapering to 4mm and is a size Y so the larger stone and wide band suit the finger size. The etched texture on the band just gives it a different look.

Heavenly Halo

The client had a three stone engagement ring and wedding ring that was looking tied after 20 years .

So I used the 18kt yellow gold for the shank of the new ring with a line maked around the ring to represent the two rings melted together . The setting is platinum with three original diamonds as the main stones and 28 x 2pt diamonds in halos.
