Sparkling Brilliant

 Sourced the diamond and  hand made this sparkling 2 carat diamond solitaire ring, in 18kt gold and platinum setting.

The client wanted a ring she could wear everyday even though it was a large stone., so I kept the setting low by incorporating it into the band but still high enough to let light in under the stone so it would sparkle. The shoulders of the ring give it strength and protect the setting. Shoulders are 4mm wide taper to 3mm also they start off rounded then turn into a knife edge band at the bottom, just a little bit of interest in a traditional style ring.  


 

Free Form

 

This free form natural green/yellow Australian  party sapphire 1.35 carat needed a free form ring to suit.       9kt yellow gold hand made ring.

Echted Blue

A remake using 18kt yellow gold  and emerald cut blue gem from clients mothers jewellery. The brief was simple  chunky but different. The gem is 10 x 8 mmm, the band is 6mm tapering to 4mm and is a size Y so the larger stone and wide band suit the finger size. The etched texture on the band just gives it a different look.

Heavenly Halo

The client had a three stone engagement ring and wedding ring that was looking tied after 20 years .

So I used the 18kt yellow gold for the shank of the new ring with a line maked around the ring to represent the two rings melted together . The setting is platinum with three original diamonds as the main stones and 28 x 2pt diamonds in halos.

 Gold remake ring using  a 14kt yellow gold  bracelet, white gold and diamond  pendant, the largest diamond in ring  and a white gold eternity ring. all supplied by client. Designed to be worn on the middle finger.

Claddah

                                                                      The clients brief was to make a claddagh ring that would stand out on her larger finger size., using her gold and diamonds, with a light blue stone in heart. The widest part of this ring is 16mm and the ceylon sapphire in heart is 3.5mm diameter. Adding the rails to outside of ring protected the crown which has 4 diamonds set in it and gave the ring weight. 

White Topaz

 

Two rings made using white topaz gems the clients family had found and cut many years ago.

Ladies ring handmade 9kt rose gold and white gold setting,the stone measures 10mm so needed the 8 claws to hold securely in place. The gents ring sterling silver  cast then modified to hold  13x 11mm gem stands high off the finger.
