Australian bolder opal set in sterling silver with 9kt yellow gold edge which turns into the bail for a chain run through.
When you look into this stone it can be any image you would like it to be, form a starry night in the outback to an under water scene. available for sale.
The platinum and diamond ring is a traditional design with five diamonds in a row, (just under a carat total diamond weight) but by positioning the claws close together it makes the diamonds stand out against the textured edge.
This bracelet looks simple but is full of sentiment, the client had silver that was from her deceased husband jewellery, gold and a garnet that her sister had given her. So I combined the three elements giving her an interesting and meaningful bracelet.
The pendant represents all the movement you see at the beach,
it was made by pouring molted sterling silver directly on to the cuttlefish thus creating the lines and the free form of the pendant.
The cultured pearl is the focus point for all the beautiful organic lines, by leaving the front unpolished it gave it a soft textual finish.
Sold this one hope to create some more soon.
I am a qualified jeweller and have worked in the jewellery trade for over forty years. My apprenticeship was completed with Italian jewellers in Melbourne.
Living in Loch Sport has let me experience nature to the fullest, which influences my work. The other major influence is the Art Noveau period 1890-1914 with its beautiful organic flowing lines. This period was a reaction to the industrialization of the world and I think we need to react again in the present time to encourage handcrafted items, so we can be individuals and show our essence in what we create.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it. I can also repair and remodel your treasured jewellery. If you like any of the designs show here I can make them to your specification.
